Happy Birthday to Ching Bee Geok: Upon our arrival around noon in Penang, we had Penang streets food for lunch at Pulau Tikus market. Had a good rest in the afternoon and evening was a dinner hosted by Ching Neng Shyan and Judith Khoo to celebrate Ching Bee Geok's birthday at D'White Beach Seafood Restaurant 沙滩小馆, Burma Road, Penang.

The D'White Beach Seafood Restaurant 沙滩小馆 is located on the ground floor of Premier Centre, facing Burma Road, Penang. The interior is distinct from the Middle Kingdom with lantern spelling downwards.

After dinner, Jin Wei and myself drove to Suffolk House for final preparation and inspection of the wedding decoration and settings.

Suffolk House established in 1804 is located off Jalan Air Itam, Penang, standing on Peper Estate that was originally owned by Captain Francis Light. It has been part of Penang history for almost as long as Penang's history itself. By learning about Suffolk House, you learn the lives and times of the British settlement in Penang.

  1. Woah! This place is gorgeous. The decoration and the arrangement look mind blowing. I would so want to decorate an event space just like this, so warm and welcoming it is. The north garden looks beautiful with all the set up.
